St John's Broadstone

About our Parish

We are the Church of England Parish Church for Broadstone. In the 120 years of the Church's existence, Broadstone has grown greatly from being a village, to become essentially a suburb of Poole with a population of about 16,000. But it retains the community feel of a "village".

The Church seats about 230, there is capacity for more on occasional seating, which is required for some of the services in the year. We have 287 on the Electoral Roll, and Services are held using the Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship (traditional form).

There is a Creche area, and a Sunday School every Sunday. Coffee is served in the Church Hall after Sunday 10am Service. A Messy Church event is held once per month on a Thursday afternoon (third Thursday.

There is a Parent and toddler group called First Steps who meet every Wednesday during term time from 1pm to 3pm.

Population: 16000
