North Dulwich: St.Faith

About our Parish

St Faith's is a eucharistic community with an open and progressive faith understanding.

We are a welcoming and inclusive church community, very mixed in terms of age, gender, ethnicity and occupation, which works hard together to develop the ministry of all its members.

Young people, in particular, are treated very seriously, and contribute fully to our life on their own terms.

Though worshippers come from within and outside the parish, we have a strong commitment to community development and the people of the place we serve; and the parish is as mixed and diverse as is the congregation.

The church has a Community Centre, which arose out of our social audit and which hosts many local community groups including a Kindergarten, educational and social/therapeutic sessions for adults with educational needs, groups for the over 60's plus uniformed groups, ballet school and Glee club to name a few. We link with local schools, health providers, the police, Southwark council and the tenants and residents association.

We are developing a pattern of working together for the good of the whole local area, and in particular the residents of the Denmark Hill estate.
