The Anglicans and Baptists worship together on one or two Sundays per month. The Diocesan centre for Healing and Wholeness is also situated in the parish. There is a small (70) Church of England Primary school (controlled) in the parish. Nonington Parish forms a benefice with the parishes of Aylesham and Adisham, and belongs to the East Bridge deanery within the Diocese of Canterbury. The church tradition is broadly middle of the road Anglican with a congregation drawn from different church backgrounds.
