Our Church roof

Sadly our church is beginning to show signs of its age. You will find places where there is damage to the plaster on the wall caused by water leaking from the roof.

However in June, we were pleased to announce we had been granted £155,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund for repairs. This won't cover the full costs, we have to do some local fund raising as well but we can make a start.

If you visit the church and see scaffolding around, the builders are having a close look to see what needs to be done and ecologists will be checking for bats. We hope the work for real will start in the second half of 2012.
