Peachcroft Christian Centre, Abingdon

We are a modern friendly Abingdon church with a heart for Peachcroft. We wish to serve all those who come to us and all who live on the Peachcroft Estate and around!

All visitors are very welcome. On Sundays we serve tea and coffee after our morning service which starts at 10.00am. There are many other activities happening throughout the week which figure on our extensive website: www.peachcroftcc.org

Peachcroft Christian Centre is officially recognised by the Baptist Union, the Church of England, the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church.

Regular Services

Sunday

All Age Worship
Café style. No separate Sunday Club so children stay with the adults for the service.
Every first Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour

Morning Worship
Children in Church with adults for the first 20/25 minutes. Sunday Club then begins.
Every second Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Holy Communion
Sunday Club begins at 10am. Children join adults at 11am for the Communion part of the service.
Every third Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Morning Worship
Children in Church with adults for the first 20/25 minutes. Sunday Club then begins.
Every fourth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Holy Communion
Sunday Club begins at 10am and children remain in it until the adults' service is over.
Every fifth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Evening Praise Service
This is an informal service of praise, reflection and prayer, finishing at about 8.30pm.
Every last Sunday at 7:00 PM for 1½ hours

Monday

14-2-17 Café
The aim is to give young people a place to go to relax. 14-2-17 Café is a weekly café for 14-17 year olds (years 10-13). Activities include Wii computer games using our big screen, table-top games, table tennis and table football. 14-2-17 Café is run in partnership with the local police. There are refreshments at minimum cost such as fairtrade chocolate bars, crisps and various other goods on particular nights.
In term time it's open every Monday at 7:30 PM for 1½ hours

Tuesday

This is a café open for the community. Good quality hot and cold drinks, sweet and savoury food, ethically sourced and at non-profit making prices. Do you value professional service with a smile? Every Tuesday at 10:30 AM for 2 hours

Thursday

Compass Café
The aim is to give young people a place to go to relax. Compass Café is a weekly café for 11-13 year olds (years 7-9). Activities include Wii computer games using our big screen, table-top games, table tennis and table football. There are refreshments at minimum cost such as fairtrade chocolate bars, crisps and various other goods on particular nights, like popcorn and drinks including milkshakes. There are also special interest nights such as nails and braiding, pizza making, BBQs and other themed nights.
In term time it's open every Thursday at 7:30 PM for 1½ hours

Saturday
