Our Church of England Parish covers a wide area, encompassing the three villages of Kirdford, Plaistow & Ifold. For this reason we have two churches (in Kirdford and Plaistow), centres of worship and symbols of the spiritual life of the Parish for many centuries.
NOTE THAT THE ROOF REPAIRS AND REDECORATION OF KIRDFORD CHURCH ARE NOW COMPLETE, SO IT IS OPEN AGAIN DURING THE WEEK FOR VISITORS AND PRIVATE PRAYER, AS WELL AS FOR SUNDAY WORSHIP.
All are welcome to join our Sunday and mid-week worship - there is a link giving this month's services under "NEWS" to the right, and service details are found by clicking the tab above. Both church buildings are open during the day for visitors and private prayer.
Plaistow church (Holy Trinity) is a Victorian gem – a stone-built church with two Kempe stained glass windows (see link to the right for details).
Kirdford church (St. John the Baptist) is an impressive stone-built medieval church with features from Saxon & Norman times, also with Kempe stained glass windows. Its bell tower houses six bells that are rung regularly.
