Welcome to Porthleven, a charming Cornish village nestling around an historic harbour in Mount's Bay and close to the Market Town of Helston, home of the famous Floral Dance. Right at the heart of the community is the Parish Church of St. Bartholomew, where you will receive a warm welcome whether you are just visiting or whether you live here. Porthleven is an ideal place from which to explore South West Cornwall. It has lots of places to stay, plenty of places to eat and drink, and on the doorstep is the National Trust Penrose estate with the tranquil waters of Loe Pool, the largest fresh-water lake in Cornwall. Once you have visited Porthleven you will want to keep coming back. We look forward to welcoming you.
