Welcome to a church where you will find worship that is uplifting; inspiration for daily living; support at all times; friendship between all ages; a growing faith for today's world.

St Margaret's Church is a welcoming and lively Church Family with activities for all ages and a vision of a Christian community committed to openly sharing the Gospel in the modern world.

Through our Eucharist-centred worship, we come together as God's People to meet Him and each other, and go out into the world refreshed and renewed to do His service as the Body of Christ.  In everything we do we strive to witness to the openness and graciousness of the life of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the course for the work of our Church Family was set in 1851, when the Bishop of Manchester preached at the opening service on the Biblical text: "Lord, it is good for us to be here".  It is a theme repeated by the countless worshippers and visitors who have entered the church and shared in its life throughout the generations.  You are always warmly invited to join us.

Please feel free contact us if you have any questions or if we can help you.

St Margaret's Church is a registered charity, number 1130509.
