We, the people of St Mark and All Saints' Reading, are a loving, welcoming, worshipping Christian community; working together to share the love of Christ with everyone.

We are now the united benefice of St Mark and All Saints Reading, as from October 1st, 2011. This website will continue as All Saints for the time being until we get ourselves sorted out. A link to the website for St Mark's is to the right.

All Saints Church is half a mile to the west of Reading town centre in Downshire Square (No.26 or 33 bus from the town centre). Within the old parish there are two Church Schools; All Saints Infant School next to the Church and St Mary's Primary School in Coley Park. There is now also the new CfBT owned and run All Saints Junior (Free School, non-Faith, 7-11 years old) which for it's first year is operating in the Church Hall. The old August House in Brownlow Road opposite the church will be the new home for the School from September 2012. For latest OFSTED reports for the two Church Schools see the links to the right. There are also several Care Homes in the parish, which we regularly visit and minister to, as well as two private hospitals, several pubs, more than one hotel, not many shops, no helipad, and at least two petrol stations.

Our main Sunday Service at All Saints is the 10.30 am Parish Eucharist to which everybody is welcome. At St Mark's the service time is 9.15 am. The style is relaxed and friendly. There is a wide spectrum of Anglican traditions amongst the congregations. Coffee and Chat afterwards is an important social occasion both at St Mark's and at All Saints. We hope that you will find that the congregations, young and old, are friendly and inclusive.

If you are looking for a venue for an event please consider our Church Halls which are available to everyone. Details of availability and charges for All Saints Hall are to be found via the links to the right. Extracts from the current edition of The Parish Magazine are also shown through another link to the right.

If you have a toddler in the family you may like to know about "Friendly Faces" - see the link "for toddlers" to the right.

If you cannot find what you want to know please use the email link ("Contact us" tab above) to send a message which will be received by the Vicar.
