St James Church serves the satellite village of Romanby to the southeast of Northallerton. Members of our congregation will warmly welcome any visitors. In 2006-07, a new extension was built and the building was licensed for Weddings. The chapel-of-ease is part of the Parish of Northallerton, but at the same time has its distinctive character as the Anglican church of Romanby. The church is situated on the B1333 Ainderby Road. It is five minutes’ walk from Northallerton railway station. At present the church is not regularly open outside service times, but the interior can been seen by appointment - please see our website for details.
