St James is a small village church with a small friendly congregation. We meet for the Sung Eucharist on Sundays at 10.30am, except on the first Sunday when the Eucharist is celebrated at 10am either at St James or at St Luke's Sharlston. . The Rite of the Eucharist is Common Worship modern language. Our worship is traditional in style, but not excessively formal. The Eucharist is celebrated on Tuesdays at 7pm . We have a monthly requiem Mass, a healing mass once a month and a Walsingham mass, all on Tuesdays at 7pm. We have a branch of the Mothers Union .
We have a small choir, who still sing psalms to Anglican chant. We have a programme of social events throughout the year and hold activity days for children around the major festivals.
We would love to see you!
