St Francis

Life with God

We seek to put God at the centre of who we are and all that we do. Church is not just about Sundays, but the whole of life. Whether we are alone or with others, we are always the church – called into relationship with God through His love and kindness.

We intend our Sunday services to honour God and to equip us for doing Life with God during our whole week with family, friends and work colleagues.

At St Francis you will hear the words Encounter, Equip and Engage.

ENCOUNTER: We want everyone to know God, not just know about God.

EQUIP: We want to become more like Jesus. This involves developing practices that help us to live closely with God, equipping us to serve Him and this world which He loves. We seek to discover the gifts He has given to each of us.

ENGAGE: We want to put our faith into practice. We are all called to go beyond receiving and learning. We want to show what practising the way of Jesus means – helping to transform relationships in households, workplaces and across society. See what some of our church members are up to locally and globally.

We pray that through St Francis Church you will encounter God and be grasped by His amazing love. We pray that meeting with others will equip you to serve Him and discover how you can engage most effectively in helping to change the world.
