St.Leonard's is the village church in what is still very much a village on the outskirts of St.Albans.

We aim to maintain our friendly and inclusive atmosphere in work, worship and recreation, and to be a place and a community where parishioners of all ages can find a welcome and a spiritual home.

We do not have a creche in a separate room; instead we have play-bags for use in the pews and a children's corner in the body of the church so that children can remain part of the congregation during worship. Children are also always welcome to join Young Church which meets in the Parish Room at the rear of the church during the morning service on the 2nd-5th Sundays in the month.

Young people of secondary school age, as well as playing an active part in the Sunday Services, have their own meetings on Sunday evenings led by Youth Leader Bex.

Visitors of all ages are always welcome - to services, to the Youth Groups, to weekday activities for children and adults, or to our regular programme of concerts and events such the annual Flower Festival in our beautiful Norman building and in the churchyard.

Please use the tabs above and links menu to the right to find out more. However St Leonard's now has its own website at www.sandridgechurch.org.uk. - please click on the link to find out full details of our news, services, events and contact details.
