Built on a hill above the Waveney Valley, the Church dates from the end of the 13th century. Little of the original medieval building remains, and in 1963 much of the roof, choir stalls and organ were destroyed by fire.
Since the fire, the interior has been re-ordered sympathetically to provide a bright welcoming space, with a striking new East Window.

The Revd Nigel Tuffnell joined St. Andrew's Scole as Priest in Charge of the Benefices of Scole and Redenhall in September. The benefices are in the process of uniting.
