At the heart of our Church Family is the celebration of the 10am Sunday Eucharist. The Lord's own service, for the Lord's own people, on the Lord's own day. During the interegum - the time between priests - we are fortunate to have visiting priests to celebrate, preach and send us out in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Church is open from dawn to dusk. Morning Prayer is offered up daily by members of our Church family in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at 9am and you are very welcome to join them. There is an intercession book on the Welcome Desk just inside the church door, and an opportunity to light votive candles in the nave of the Church.
Please do visit the Church, to pause and pray awhile.
Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, and Confession are all joyfully celebrated here with arrangements made through Andrew Corbett our Churchwarden on 07912 113 730. The Churchyard is achingly beautiful and over the centuries many of the Villagers of Sedlescombe have found their resting place here. There is a memorial book, to remember the Souls of the Faithful Departed, in our Church Family prayers on their anniversary day. Again please contact Andrew for further details.
We are fortunate to have a first rate Church of England School which has a very close relationship with the Church Family. The School join us for the Sunday Eucharist several time a year, and of course there are special school services throughout the year. The Headteacher is Mrs Marion Ham who can be contacted on 01424 870585. www.sedlescombecep.e-sussex.sch.uk
