Although our church dates back to the 14th century, you will find that we are proud to live and worship with our hearts and minds firmly in the 21st century.
Our parish church is very easy to find (if you have a satnav, simply enter our post code, SG17 5DD). We enjoy a prominent position right at the heart of the vibrant and picturesque market town of Shefford in Bedfordshire - just look for the tower.
Part of the United Benefice of Meppershall & Shefford, we aim to offer you the widest possible range of opportunities for worship, friendship, spiritual development, healing and growth, family friendly activities, and social/cultural events to suit all ages and tastes.

A traditional service of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month
Every first Sunday at 8:30 AM for 1 hour
New service begins 2011 every fourth Sunday at 8:30 AM for 1 hour
Communion service for all the family, with Messengers Sunday school group
Every third Sunday at 9:45 AM for 1 hour
Family service
Every fourth Sunday at 9:45 AM for 1 hour
Morning Praise
Every first Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Holy Communion for all the family, with Messengers Sunday School group
Every second Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
New service time starts January 2011 every third Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
New service time 2011 every fourth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Various themed services offering a different approach to worship. Preceeded by tea and cakes from 5pm. See the "Whatson" section of our website for details...
Every second Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Traditional Holy Communion service
Every fourth Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour
Wednesday
Worship and fun for babies & toddlers (0's to 4's) with their parents/minders
Every first and third Wednesday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Friday
Our Friday morning service is VERY well supported - the congregation is usually as large as that of our main Sunday service! Tea and coffee, together with home made cake is available afterwards, when we are frequently joined by Shefford's market traders and many regular visitors. On the last Friday of each month we also have a Traidcraft stall where you can stock up on ethically sourced/Fair Trade products
