WELCOME TO ST AUGUSTINE'S!
The mission of our church is to make God's love known in the world and in particular in our village of Skirlaugh and the surrounding area. We offer a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors in the hope that they may feel at home within it for it is a place where the love of God is made known.
We are an Anglican and Methodist Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP). Services take place every Sunday at 10.45am and anyone who would like to join our friendly congregation will be most welcome. You can find out full details relating to the current week in "What's on this week?" under the section on "News" in the list on the right of your screen. Also, the "Calendar of Events" (near the bottom of the list on the right) gives more information about what's happening in the coming weeks and months.
The Cornerstone Coffee Shop opens weekly in church on Tuesday mornings from 9.30 to 11.30 serving fresh Fairtrade coffee, tea and home-made cakes. All are welcome.
The church building is one of the finest examples of perpendicular achitecture in the country and is open for visitors from approximately 9am to 4pm daily.
Vicar : Revd Canon Chris Simmons
