On five Mondays commencing on Monday 22nd February at 7.30pm at Church Cottage, Skirlaugh.
This year’s Diocesan Lent Course is entitled “It’s All About Love” and is part of “A Way Ahead”. A simple study guide is available from Chris Simmons price 50p.
The diocesan website says: “It's All About Love” could revolutionise your whole church life, including your PCC meetings! It takes us on a journey to show how we can be freed from guilt and stress about church jobs, relax and simply allow God to shine through his church.
Barn Dance
Saturday 13th March from 8pm to 11pm at Skirlaugh Village Hall.
Brian Johnson will be the caller for this Barn Dance with music by The Keynotes. Tickets are priced at £8, to include a pie and peas supper, and a bar licence has been applied for. (£5 for children 16 and under accompanied by parents.) All proceeds to St Augustine's West End Fund.
