PLEASE NOTE. The Rev Canon Graham Foulis Brown retired in September. During the Interregnum, enquiries on pastoral matters [Baptisms, Marriages, Funerals] should be referred to our Associate Priest, The Rev Susan Cooper. Other matters should be referred to the Churchwarden of the respective church. Contact details may be found under "About the Parish".

Situated near the centre of Sonning Common, Christ the King is a modern building with an integral hall popular with community groups. A friendly welcome is assured.

Christ the King is the parish's daughter church, the actual Parish Church being St John the Baptist, Kidmore End [see link] As a parish, we are part of a united benefice with Rotherfield Peppard. [see link]

For further information about the Clergy and our parish magazine, see the "About the Parish"  link, on this page

Our Parish Mission Statement - The Church is People! Strengthened by Word and Sacrament, and our Fellowship together, members of this church, individually and collectively, seek to promote the Mission of the Church: To offer worship. To proclaim the Gospel of Christ. To make known the love of God - by deed as well as by word. To make the world a better place, according to God's will. To demonstrate our love of God and our neighbour. .
