Situated near the centre of Sonning Common, Christ the King is a modern building with an integral hall popular with community groups. A friendly welcome is assured.

Christ the King is the parish's daughter church, the actual Parish Church being St John the Baptist, Kidmore End [see link]

Lent Course
This course ["Handing on the Torch - Sacred words for a secular world"] will be held, at Christ the King Church on the 5 Wednesdays commencing 16 March. There will be an afternoon session [2pm] and an evening session [7.30pm] More details on Parish Website - see link.

Sunday

5th Sunday Benefice Eucharist
On any 5th Sunday, the 9.30am Eucharist is replaced by a Benefice Eucharist, the time varying according to where the service is held - at 10.30am if the service is at Christ the King or at All Saints', Peppard; 11.00am if held at St John's.
Time varies according to venue every fifth Sunday at for 1 hour
Sunday Eucharist
Every first second third and fourth Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour
Family Friendly Coffee Common Worship

Wednesday

Little Lambs
Little Lambs is a friendly church group, meeting in St John's Church, Kidmore End and offering a short service, craft activities and refreshments, primarily for children under five and their parents/carers. Contact - Felicity Cooper on 0118 947 7862
Term time only every last Wednesday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour
Meeting of Men's Group
This small group meets monthly for fellowship and discussion. Enquiries to - Mr J. Pearson, tel: 0118 9724347 or Dr K Crush, tel: 0118 9722167
No meeting in August or December every third Wednesday at 10:30 AM for 1½ hours
Discussion Group meeting
This group, usually led by the Revd Barry Olsen, meets on the first Wednesday of the month, at Christ the King. We start with a cuppa at 7.30pm, and the discussion normally lasts about an hour. We conclude the evening with Night Prayer. Everybody welcome, whether a church member or not. [we do not normally meet in August or during Lent, when we have our Lent Study - see link to Parish website, for details]
Every first Wednesday at 7:30 PM for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
