South Raynham, or Raynham St Martin, church is a small medieval building dating from the 13th century. It was restored in 1844. The original altar stone is still in use and was replaced in the 20th cent. There is a fine east window to Mrs Ridsdale, the wife of a former vicar. Roger Townshend who died in 1415 is buried here, but there is no memorial.
