Close to harbour and in the midst of contemporary housing estate, this church formally became part of the parish of Southwick in 2004. It is designed in a neo-Romanesque style and is a good example of a low budget inter-war church.

The church was declared redundant in November 2008. The building is to be developed as a Healthy Living Centre and Children's Centre.

It is currently being used by various community organisations for weekly meetings.
