Welcome to the Parish Church located on the corner of Church Road and the High Street in Stockton - Our parish was anciently included in that of Norton, and contained a chapel-of-ease to the mother-church; but the trade and importance of the town increasing, and the chapel falling into decay, an Act of Parliament was obtained in the year 1711 to make Stockton, with East Hartburn and Preston, a separate parish. Two years later, another Act was passed to amend and explain the former. The parish of Stockton as thus constituted was bounded on the east and north by the parishes of Billingham and Norton; on the west by Elton, Long Newton, and Egglescliffe; and on the south and south-east by the river Tees.
Parts of the Stockton parish became part of the parishes of Norton St. Michael (1918); Stockton Holy Trinity (1837); Stockton St. James (1864); Stockton St. John (1871); Stockton St. Paul (1875); Stockton St. Peter (1875)

- Regular Services
Sunday
We have three Sunday School groups at the moment, held for children from 0 to 18. About half way through our service children and young people leave to go to their age appropriate groups and stay with their group until our church service has finished. During our Holy Communion days children and young people will stay in our service until after the Communion, then they will go to their groups.
Every Sunday at 10:30 AM
Sunday morning Holy Communion service offers a warm welcome to everyone entering our church. This service is held inside our main church, where we sing hymns during our worship. During this service children and young people go to their Sunday school groups.
Every first second and fourth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1½ hours
Our Service of Word is like our Holy Communion service without the communion.
Every third and fifth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1½ hours
A signed Holy Communion for those with hearing difficulties etc
Every first Sunday at 3:00 PM for 1 hour
Wednesday
A mid week Holy Communion service for those who can not make the normal Sunday Service - the service normally takes place in the Lady Chapel rather than the main church.
Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ¾ hour
Thursday
Community church is an introduction to church service as it brings people together who have not been to a church service before and what to start coming to a church to learn more about God. It is a very informal setting making it relaxed for our members from all backgrounds and stages in their steps of faith. This service starts with a shared tea then goes into a very basic worship session, making it easy for everyone to understand and ask questions about the bible teaching they receive.
Every Thursday at 7:00 PM for 3 hours
