Founded in 1856, the church is Victorian Gothic. The interior is traditionally laid out with pews facing forwards and the altar is on a large stage at the front of the nave facing the congregation which cane be cleared for concerts and activities. All our windows are full of magnificent Victorian stained glass. Our service style is Common Worship Order 1. Our clergy are robed and we have an organist accompanies our singing on a traditional Allan electronic organ. We have a choir for Christmas. We mainly use Hymns Ancient & Modern - New Standard. Most of our music is traditional and we also have some hymns aimed at our younger members. Our congregation is a wide age range and average attendance is about 100, but significantly more for festivals. Refreshments are provided in the hall after Sunday morning Parish Communion which changes to wine on the lawns for major events.
