Martham St. Mary the Virgin is a mediaeval church* with a 98ft tower and a ring of 6 bells**, the present building being finished around 1450. There are magnificent views over the eastern Norfolk Broads and North Sea coast from the tower, open during special events.
It is the largest church in the westernmost benefice in the Flegg Group of the Deanery of Great Yarmouth.

Repps & Bastwick, St.Peter & St.Paul; Thurne with Ashby & Oby, St. Edmund; Clippesby, St.Peter.

Our regular sung Holy Communion which moves to one of the other benefice churches on the fifth Sunday of the month
Every first second third and fourth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour
Service moves around the Benefice every fifth Sunday (IF THERE IS ONE!) - see notice in porch for location.

Monthly every second Tuesday at 7:30 PM
Wednesday
A quiet spoken service of Holy Communion without hymns or sermon. Very nearly every week, usually with coffee to follow. Come and join us - everyone welcome - you will be glad you did!
Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM for 35 minutes

Monthly every Wednesday at 2:30 PM for 1 hour

Thursday
The local Prayer for Healing Group meets regularly at 2 Cedar Close, Martham usually on the Thursday before the 2nd Sunday of the month. Parishioners from the Benefice and visitors are welcome to place their requests in the box in the St.Blyth Prayer Chapel, Martham or contact Fred Bradford,Jill Beckett,Beryl Laxton, Joyce Willcox or Mary Coleman. We pray for those who are sick in body, mind or spirit and who have asked (or someone has asked on their behalf) for prayers.

Friday at 9:00 AM for 20 minutes
