We have a Youth Group ("SMUG"), Choir, "Teenage Church", Junior Choir, Junior Church and Bell Ringers. The Church Hall Coffee Bar and Shop are open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10.00 till noon. FairTrade wine is used at our communion services and FairTrade coffee is served after the service. We have a regular programme of Social and Fund Raising activities. "Friends of St Mary's" membership is open for all who wish to support raising funds to restore the ancient fabric of St Mary's church Baldock. Lifts to St Mary's church services can be arranged for elderly and/or infirm parishioners.

Cheques and standing orders for donations should be made PAYABLE to "St Mary's Baldock PCC". Ideally use the YELLOW Gift Aid envelopes for your donations. Queries about making regular donations to St Mary's should be directed to the Stewardship Recorder e-mail: Stewardship.recorder@ntlworld.com from whom forms are available for bankers orders and Gift Aid declarations.

This service held once a month on 1st Sunday and does not have communion. All the family very welcome.
Monthly on first Sunday of month every first Sunday at 9:30 AM for ¾ hour

Parish Communion with Choir. Every Sunday except 1st Sunday of month which is the "Parish Praise" service without communion. There is no longer a creche at any service at St Mary's.

Choral Evensong
Choral Evensong is on the first Sunday of the month, except in August, April and December. It follows the evening service pattern from the Book of Common Prayer with the addition of two choir anthems, a sermon and three hymns. It is particularly suited to those who like a quiet service with reverence and high quality music. Many find it a very relaxing way to round off the weekend.
Evensong days varies so please see notice on North Porch or check Pewsheet here on website. every first Sunday at 6:00 PM for ¾ hour

An informal worship service with a variety of hymns/songs and live music
Normally 3rd Sunday at 6 pm, but can vary. Notice will be displayed. every third Sunday at 6:00 PM for ¾ hour

St Marys Church Hall is available for commericial and private hire - please contact Church Warden Mick Camp for booking details and availability. Unfortunately there is no disabled access to the raised Cafe area NOR is there a disabled toilet in the church hall at this time.

Visit our Church

Our church is open when \"minders\" are available, a sign will show on the board by Hitchin St entrance when the church is OPEN for visitors. Extensive building works are currently in progress.
