St Mary's is committed to reaching out with the Word of the Gospel to all sections of the community and our 'Worship the Lord' service is just one of our responses to this challenge.
What is 'Worship the Lord?'
Worship the Lord (WTL) is a service for those people who prefer a more contemporary feel to their worship; the music features songs written by composers such as Matt Redman, Tim Hughes, Robin Mark and Brian Doerksen.
WTL takes place on the third Sunday each month, commencing at 6pm; the service lasts around an hour and aims to provide an opportunity for people to get to know the Lord through prayer, Gospel teaching and worship.
We really believe in God's power to transform people's lives and want to know how each one of us can make a difference for Christ, as His power, presence and purpose energises Christians, recognising how God wants to develop and use each person in the furtherance of His plan.
