St Peter in Eastgate is a progressive Anglican, evangelical, family church, situated at the eastern side of the historic mediaeval city of Lincoln.
The church stands in Eastgate, just outside the old Roman gate, where a church has stood for a thousand years.
In the Great Commission at the end of Matthews gospel Jesus left his followers with a great vision.....
Christians are to encourage anyone and everyone to follow Jesus, the Son of God, and know His presence in their lives.
Jesus also gave us the Great Commandment to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbours as ourselves.
It is said that a Great Commitment to the Great Commission and the Great Commandment makes for a Growing Missionary Church.
It is this vision of Jesus Christ that inspires all that we seek to be and do here at St. Peter's.
