A WARM WELCOME TO OUR BEAUTIFUL AND HISTORIC CHURCH.

PLEASE VISIT OUR PARISH WEBSITE AT:
www.stpeterswalton.org.uk

We hope that when you enter the Church you feel that you are in a holy place. A place where both body and spirit can rest and be refreshed away from the busy and noisy every-day world.

As a well known hymn has it "Be still for the presence of the Lord, the Holy One, is here". It has been sanctified over the centuries by the hopes and prayers of countless thousands of people. It still bears witness to the delights of baptisms; the joys of weddings and the sadness of funerals. It is a living church with a full programme of regular worship and is open every day for meditation and private prayer.

There has been a church on this site for over 700 years. The present Church is a result of major rebuilding in 1820. The handsome Gothic style flint tower was rebuilt to it's present form in 1895.
