William Dixon Homecoming Concert 25/4/15

William Dixon lived at Ingoe  and wrote the first comprehensive Manuscript of Northumbrian Music in 1733. He and members of his family are buried at St. Mary's and there is that large memorial to them on the Chancel Wall by the entrance door. Subsequently, in 1995, Matt Seattle found William Dixon's Manuscript in the archives of the Perth Public Library and republished it -  The concert was held 20 years since the republication and a celebration of William Dixon's music !!

There were performers piping Northumbrian, Border and Scottish small-pipes with Bouzouki, Guitar and Fiddle accompaniment.
