Where are we:
Dudley St, Carters' Green, West Bromwich, B70 9LR
St Andrew's is an inclusive and welcoming congregation of the Church of England and The Methodist Church.
As a Church of England and Methodist Ecumenical Partnership we worship together at our Sunday Service. This is a service of Holy Communion at 9.30am.
Walk through our doors on Sunday morning and you could find either of our ministers leading worship.
Currently we are in a period of vacancy so each week our services are covered by someone from the Diocese of Lichfield or the Black Country Circuit. Any two services are not the same so come along for a taste of all the different services on offer in both the Church of England and the Methodist Church.
The Revd Phil Thomas is our Superintendent Minister on The Black Country Circuit (covering Tipton, Wednesbury and West Bromwich) and is very much part of our ministry at St Andrew's.
We don't take ourselves too seriously at St Andrew's. The Gospel is full of joy and laughter. Come and explore it with us. Neither are we flippant about our faith. There are times when we have to be a little more reflective and if you're passing through a rough time we're here for you as well.
We don't deal in certainty. Faith is about questioning. Strong faith is about having courage to doubt. We believe that the opposite of faith isn't doubt. Instead the opposite of faith is certainty.
Come and explore the paths of your doubts with us. Come and have your certainties challenged.
Although our worship is early on a Sunday morning you won't find it too much of a rude awakening. Worship is dignified but friendly and traditional but informal. We often enhance our worship with projection of pictures or videos.
Children are always welcome at worship. We also run a Sunday Club which also starts at 9.30 am. Once a month, usually on the first Sunday, we all worship together in a Family Service with Communion.
We hope to see you soon
