Mothers' Union and Women's Fellowship

The regular group for women of the four parishes: Bramfield, Stapleford, Waterford & Watton.

Unless otherwise listed, the group meets in the main hall at Stapleford School on the second Wednesday of each month, at 7:30pm

The programme for 2011 is as follows:

January 12th

Fish & Chip Supper at the Papillon Restaurant in Stapleford. After our meal we will be having a Beetle Drive.

February 24th (Thursday)

Cinderella pantomime at Watton Hall with the Has Beane Players.

March 4th (Friday)

Women’s World Day of Prayer 7.30pm at the Watton Methodist Church

March 9th (Ash Wednesday)

Holy Communion at 7.30pm in Stapleford Church.

March 25th (Friday)

Lady Day Communion & Enrolment Service in Waterford Church with the Revd Brian Fairbank.

April 3rd

Bring & Buy Garden Stall - please bring along plants, seeds, books, equipment to Stapleford School at 7.30pm.

April 21st

Maundy Thursday Holy Communion at 7.30pm in Waterford Church.

April 22nd

Good Friday Services at 11am in Bramfield and 2pm in Watton.

April 24th

Easter Day.

May 11th

Proposed visit to Knebworth House.

June 8th

Service of Compline at 7.15pm followed by a talk “Faithful Relationship” by Kim Wilkinson at All Saints Church, Hertford.

July 7th  (Thursday)

Wave of Prayer 3.30pm at Bramfield Church.

July 13th

AGM and programme planning with a Bring & Buy Stall and MU products for sale, venue yet to be decided.

August – no meeting

September 14th

Keep Fit and Physio with Dorothy Toyn, 7.30pm in Stapleford School.

October 12th

Our visit to Oberammergau and the Passion Play by Ann & Geoff Voss, 7.30pm in Stapleford School.

November 9th

Knit and Natter Evening at 7.30pm in Stapleford School.

December 14th

Christmas Social – food to share, a gift to exchange and Christmas music at 7.30pm in Stapleford School.
