St. Guthlac's Church is a beautiful medieval church built of local soft ironstone and was dedicated in c1200 probably on the site of an earlier church. It is situated in a delightful setting within the village of Stathern on the southern edge of the Vale of Belvoir in northeast Leicestershire. It was dedicated in about AD 1200.
