St. Edmunds Church is a friendly group of Christians, doing our best to love and follow Jesus. Our services are family friendly and informal but with a strong sense of being with God and worshipping Him. We acknowlege the presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit and we offer prayer ministry after every service, believing that God answers our prayers.
Our Vision is to be a Worshiping Community that is Accessible to Every One!
We are part of the Emmanuel Group of Churches, including Christ Church, St. John's and St. Christopher’s, and hold joint services with them on occasions.
The building has been one of our priorities for this past year, with re-decoration and making things good ready for our new community projects and mission events.
The Evening congregation is growing in numbers. We feel this is due to the type of service which has been developed ~ Relaxed Freindly Bible Teaching and Worship with a time for prayer ministry and the essential Tea & Cake Fellowship after the service.
The Morning services are re-focussing on Spirit-filled worship of the living God. Looking upwards to heaven - and outward to the world. We have two Sundays that are Family (All-Age) and two that are Family Communion Services
The HuB! is our community project. We now have the facilities to offer a number of activities and servcies to the local community. to date:

Sunday
A lively all age service with children in the service throughout. Modern worship songs lead by the music group. Sermon / talk suitable for all ages.
Every first and third Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour
Holy Communion service with Sunday School. Lively worship, with children going to their Sunday School after the first hymns. Sermon / talk suitable for adults. Communion using several different Common Worship forms of service.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Evening Service. Is a Reflective Relaxed Friendly Bible Teaching service, with Communion on 1st & 3rd Sunday. For this service the Music lead by piano or organ and there is always Tea, Coffee & Cake and a time to chat afterwards.
Every Sunday at 4:30 PM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
