Arranging a Baptism (Christening); Funeral; or Wedding

How to arrange a Baptism, traditionally called a Christening
For those who live within the Parish, we are pleased to welcome babies and young children in Baptism.  We ask that parents attend the Sung Eucharist at Holy Trinity on the last Sunday of the month, or Praise Together at Christ the King on the first Sunday in the month in order to book in.  We then invite you to a preparation evening, normally on a Wednesday at Holy
Trinity.  The Baptism can take place at either church either in the main service or separately.

How to arrange a funeral
We are privileged to be involved with families in times of sadness too, and conduct many funerals each year, some in one of the churches, others at local crematoria or cemeteries.  Generally the chosen Funeral Director will make all the initial arrangements with us.

How to arrange a wedding in church
Holy Trinity is licensed for weddings, and we are happy to marry those who live in the parish, who have not previously been married.  Currently those who have been divorced are offered a service of Prayer and Dedication following civil marriage.

The first step is to contact the Parish Office at The Vicarage or the Priest in Charge (Vicar) who will be pleased to discuss this with you. See the contact details on the previous page.
