St John's Egham

Welcome to St John’s

There is a warm invitation to all to come and experience hope. Whoever you are, wherever you are on the journey of faith, you are welcome.

You are welcome to join us in person or on St John’s Online via our YouTube channel and Facebook Page.

What is our church like?

St John’s Church Egham is a vibrant Church of England church in the heart of Egham, passionate about seeing lives changed in the name of Jesus, bringing hope to those we encounter and serve.

We are a diverse and loving community of people made up of all ages and backgrounds with a huge heart to welcome everyone. Our life together is shaped by our mission to Love God, Love one another and love our community.

We want to be known as a church that is committed to loving and serving God, committed to building deep and lasting relationships with one another, and committed to building God’s kingdom in our local community.

You are welcome to join one of our three Sunday services at
9am, 10:30am, or 6pm – in-person or livestreamed on YouTube.

There’s lots going on at the church, including work with children, young people, and students. Our beautiful church building and Easter Centre are both fully accessible for buggies and wheelchairs, we have sofas and toys for parents with babies, new nappy changing facilities, and a hearing-loop, so we hope that from our oldest to our youngest member, everyone feels at home.

If you need more information, please contact us. We look forward to getting to know you and hope you will join us in this wonderful journey of faith.

The parish of Egham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Yours in faith, hope, and love,
