You are welcome at St John's whatever your sexual orientation.

The leadership of St John's are convinced that there is nothing in the Gospel revealed by Jesus, nor anywhere else in the Bible, which argues that same-sex relationships are essentially evil.

At the moment, we are not allowed under Church law to bless your relationship if you are gay or lesbian. But we will certainly Baptise your children and offer you every other ministry of the Church. You will also be welcomed into the fellowship of the congregation to the extent that you want to be.

And please be assured: St John's is not an 'issue-based' Church.

We are simply a Parish Church, trying to celebrate the love of God who breaks down barriers and welcomes all who will respond.
