St Jude's (Anglicans + Methodists working together)

Welcome to St Jude's.

Our church building is at the heart of Englefield Green, and the focus for the life events of its inhabitants - baptisms, weddings, funerals, and so on.  We have two schools, St Jude's Infants and St Jude's Juniors.  Local groups use the church, our Hall in Kings Lane, and our busy Village Centre in Victoria Street.  Do make use of all these, but it is our regular worship of God through Jesus that matters most.

If you aren't sure what goes on in our Sunday morning 9.30 service, go to our YouTube channel (the link is on this site) and watch at home, but do try to come in person: people matter to us, and (if you wish) you can chat, sing, have a cup of coffee and a biscuit ... .  The Sunday 8.00am and Wednesday services are similar but shorter.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Englefield Green is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Diana Bendall, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor, Jackie Broadfoot. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
