You are welcome to join us for any of our services. The church is also open for private prayer during the day.

St Laurence's is a very old (originally Saxon) Church and is set in an extensive and peaceful Churchyard which adjoins fields and woods. Inside it is quiet and simple and has a welcoming atmosphere which contributes to the peace and beauty of this holy place.

A modern feature is the Millennium Window over the West door, which the Parish community generously gave in 2000. This depicts various scenes of life in the Village of Lurgashall, both past and present.

With effect from 1 August 2007, our Rector has left Lurgashall and moved to take charge of another Parish in the Diocese. We are, however, very pleased to have been able to welcome the Reverend Derek Humphrey who will be standing in as Rector until a new Incumbent is appointed. This means that the full range of services can be offered - see 'Services and Events' for details. Father Derek is living in the Vicarage at Lodsworth and his telephone number, together with those of the Churchwardens, is given in the 'Contact Us' section.
