Welcome to St Mary's Barnham!

There has been a church on this site since Saxon times and the present church is mentioned in the Domesday Book. In recent years the church has been sensitively restored to create a wide and open space for social events as well as for worship.

St Mary's contains many things of historical interest, but it is not a museum! It is home to the real Church - the people of God who meet here to worship week by week. Why not come and join us?

Don't worry if you haven't attended a church service before, or if you're not really sure what you believe - the people of St Mary's don't claim to know all the answers, we are explorers, and we welcome you to come and explore with us.

With rejoice to be part of the Catholic tradition of the Church of England, and this is reflected in our worship. People of all ages and backgrounds form our congregation and the focus of our life together is the Sunday Mass. We hold to the traditional understanding of Holy Orders and a male priest celebrates the Eucharist on every occasion.

The church is open daily during daylight hours and we hope you will find peace inside.

All are welcome here.
