St. Michael's is a lively church with a vision to celebrate, proclaim and demonstrate God's love as shown in Jesus Christ. There are many aspects to our life at St Michael's but our Sunday gatherings are at the heart of all we do. Details of our Sunday services and activities for children and young people can be found on our web site. Bible teaching is central to our meeting together because we believe the Bible to be God's means of building up and equipping His Church.
As well as meeting on Sundays, many of our members also get together during the week in house groups for friendship, bible study and mutual support.
A church exists for the benefit of its non members. We see ourselves as being here for the local community of Wilmington and are very much part of it.
For all our weaknesses - which are many - our conviction is that the local church is the hope of the world because Jesus Christ is at its centre.
