St Thomas' is a Grade I listed Commissioners 'Waterloo' Church, in the Greek revival style, and was consecrated in 1825.

The magnificent interior is complemented by beautiful stained glass windows, and an 1834 Renn organ, still in excellent working order.

Our talented choir accompany every Sunday service, and at Christmas time the Carol Service is a particularly wonderful event.

You can be assured of a warm welcome when you come!

Service of Nine Lessons and Carols
For this invariably popular and well attended service, our regular choir will be augmented by some "old but not elderly" friends to enhance the musical presentation and do full justice to the church's splendid acoustics. If that were not a sufficiently attractive proposition, the service will be followed by mince pies and fruit juice - some of which will bestow the benefits of having been fermented.
