St Thomas' is a Grade I listed Commissioners 'Waterloo' Church, in the Greek revival style, and was consecrated in 1825.

The magnificent interior is complemented by beautiful stained glass windows, and an 1834 Renn organ, still in excellent working order.

Our talented choir accompany every Sunday service, and at Christmas time the Carol Service is a particularly wonderful event.

You can be assured of a warm welcome when you come!

Easter Egg Festival
St. Thomas' is hosting an Easter Egg Festival. (Much like a Christmas Tree festival but with better weather and no pine needles.) We have invited local businesses, charities, schools and churches to construct and decorate Modest or Giant Easter Eggs and display them in church. We anticipate some 50 entrants. In addition to the eggs, there will be a chocolate tombola, a treasure hunt, and lots more things to do for people of all ages! The festival is (we think) the first of its kind in the Chester diocese, possibly in northern England, and we are really hoping that it will put St. Thomas' on the map as a great heritage attraction, as well as helping people to understand a bit more about the amazing Easter Story!
