St Mary & St Giles is a Forward in Faith Parish under the Episcopal Care of the Bishop of Ebbsfleet. The 9:30am Parish Mass is our main act of Christian Worship on Sundays. Weekday Mass is celebrated each day. An emphasis on public and personal worship, Christian Formation and participating in the continuing mission of Christ the Redeemer is at the heart of the Parish's life.

Mass

Every other Sunday every Sunday at 8:00 AM for ½ hour
Parish Mass
The weekly Parish Mass is our principal act of worship. It is a Sung Mass with a separate Ministry of the Word for Young Christians, followed by tea and coffee.
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Monday

Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession and Absolution)
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available after weekday Masses or by appointment with a priest, and at 4.00pm every Saturday during Lent.
Every Monday at for ½ hour
Bell-ringing practice

Tuesday

Every Tuesday at for ½ hour
Daily Mass & Offices
Mass is said daily at St Mary & St Giles in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The normal pattern (occasionally varied according to the season) is Monday 9:00am; is Tuesday at 12:15pm; Wednesday 9.30am; Thursday 7.30pm; Friday 12:15pm Check the weekly Mass sheet or our web site for variations to this pattern. The Office of Readings and Morning Prayer are said before morning Masses; Evening Prayer is said before evening Masses. All are welcome to join the clergy in the saying of the daily offices.

The St Mary & St Giles Fellowship
All are wlecome to join the Fellowship for a variety of events, including talks, demonstrations and an annual breakfast preceded by Mass in St Mary & St Giles Church. (The Fellowship presently meets on the premises of the Stony Stratford Baptists.)
Every third Wednesday at 1:45 PM for 2 hours
Handbell Ringers
Anyone aged 12 or over is welcome to try their hand at the ancient art of handbell ringing. This group meets in the Church School (in King George Crescent) between 6.30 & 7.15 pm on Wednesdays in term time. Contact: Lesley Salter (01908) 567404
Wednesdays in term time every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for ¾ hour
Prayer Group
7.30 pm - 8.30 pm. All members of the parish family are welcome. Meets every other Wednesday in the home of one of the participants. Contact: Jenny & Ray Rowlson (01908) 562853
Fortnightly every Wednesday at 7:30 PM for 1 hour
The Ladies Group
Meets at 8pm on the first Wednesday of the month for a varied programme which includes speakers, theatre trips, outings, and discussions. Contact: Fiona King on 01908 566743
