St Paul's is the original (1826) parish church of Shipley. Our congregation has a wide age-range (0-97) trusting in the One God, Father Son and Holy Spirit, we seek to
- worship the living God
- love our neighbours and our world
- be a welcoming Christian community
Music plays an important part in church life for young people and adults alike - our robed all-age choir, organ and instrumental band lead us in a wide variety of music.
We work alongside our sister churches of all traditions in the town through Shipley Churches Together.
The building, an historic "Waterloo" or "Commissioners'" church with a "listed" organ by Binns, has been sensitively adapted to meet the needs of its congregation and recently refurbished internally.
A room in the building is available to community groups for regular or occasional use, and the church is used for concerts, drama, etc.
Our parish includes shops, housing and industry, plus Salt's Mill and part of the historic Saltaire World Heritage Site.
