House Groups at St Peter's
There are several small groups that meet at St Peter's - some in people's homes, and some in the Baptistry at the back of the church. All are open and welcome new members.
Refresh
This is a group that meets on alternate Tuesdays from 8-9pm in the Baptistry. We aim to support and encourage each other as we discuss what our Christian faith means to us, and brush up our Bible knowledge. We began to meet following the Confirmation last April. Many of us are quite new to St Peter’s and we have all found that the group has helped us feel much more part of the Church, and more confident in asking questions and discussing our faith. We would like to encourage more people to join us, so if you are interested, please do come along. Just turn up – no preparation required! You don't even have to have been recently confirmed!
Exploring Faith
This group has now grown in numbers beyond what could comfortably sit in one living room, and we have formed into two groups to allow more space for growth! Both groups meet every other Tuesday, (i.e. the one that Refresh isn't happening). One is at Templars Cottage (Balsall Street) and the other in Wilton Road, near the church.
These are both places for people who want to ask questions, or explore their growing faith and think about how to share it. The session starts with coffee etc, at 7.45, and ends around 9.30. (Now alternating with Refresh on a Tuesday as Wednesdays were getting to be a problem for some members of the group!)
