Confused about Communion?
Then avoid the 2nd and 4th Sundays in the month
OR
Come along and be amazed at the power of this simple ceremony

…but it’s a big building, and a long, long path to get there
Ring Chris, our Vicar, or a Churchwarden, or anyone you know from the PCC, and we’ll make sure we meet you and make you welcome

Worried your Children will disturb the Service?
We’re not. Children are ALWAYS welcome and especially at the Family Praise Service (3rd Sunday in the Month and we have coffee afterwards!)

Love a traditional style service?
So do we, on 1st and 4th Sunday of each month.
And join us for coffee afterwards!

Up and about early on a Sunday morning?
Come and join our 8am Holy Communion Service every Sunday.

Keen to help your children understand?
We run Junior Church sessions on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month: you don’t even have to be in Church yourself! (But you might find you enjoy being there!) And join us for coffee afterwards!

I’m not sure what I believe…
Well, sometimes, neither do we. It’s big, complicated and difficult to articulate. Don’t be afraid to come and explore your thoughts, doubts, and worries

What does “being a Church” mean?
Helping to run local organisations such as Scouts, Drama Groups, and others
Because they’re about allowing people to grow…something we believe in
Helping to run (with both money and people) community projects in York (for example with the Homeless, with Drug Addicts, with offenders)
Because we believe in forgiveness, and in people
Supporting overseas projects that are trying to alleviate poverty, disease and despair
Because everybody is important
