Confused about Communion?
Then avoid the 2nd and 4th Sundays in the month. On the third Sunday in the month we share worship with our fellow churches in the Benefice, so we are not always at All Hallows.
Come along and be amazed at the power of this simple ceremony.
…but it’s a big building, and a long, long path to get there
Ring Chris, our Vicar, on 01347 810251, or a Churchwarden, or anyone you know from the PCC, and we’ll make sure we meet you and make you welcome
Worried your Children will disturb the Service?
We’re not. Children are ALWAYS welcome at All Hallows. If you want a special event for young children why not try Messy Chuch which takes place regularly in one of the 5 churches in the Benefice.
Love a traditional style service?
So do we, on 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
And join us for coffee afterwards!
Up and about early on a Sunday morning?
Come and join our 8am Holy Communion Service every 1st and 3rd Sunday.
Keen to help your children understand?
We run a Junior Church session on the 2nd Sunday of every month: you don’t even have to be in Church yourself! (But you might find you enjoy being there!) And join us for coffee afterwards!
I’m not sure what I believe…
Well, sometimes, neither do we. It’s big, complicated and difficult to articulate. Don’t be afraid to come and explore your thoughts, doubts, and worries
What does “being a Church” mean?
Helping to run local organisations such as Scouts, Drama Groups, and others
Because they’re about allowing people to grow…something we believe in
Helping to run (with both money and people) community projects in York (for example with the Homeless, with Drug Addicts, with offenders)
Because we believe in forgiveness, and in people
Supporting overseas projects that are trying to alleviate poverty, disease and despair
Because everybody is important.
