St. Mary’s is the historic Parish Church of Swanage.
It offers the opportunity to explore a faith in God through its worship and activities.
It is open for prayer, contemplation and visiting daily throughout the week.
It plays an active part in the civic life of Swanage together with other churches in the Association of Churches Together in Swanage (ACTS).
It supports work in the community, including work with young people and those who are disadvantaged in co-operation with other caring agencies.
It hosts many concerts and other activities throughout the year – celebrating the gifts which individuals and groups can offer.

Sunday

Holy Communion
Devotional in nature and suitable for those wishing to take part in a quieter act of worship.
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 40 minutes
Sung Eucharist (Parish Communion)
The main weekly act of worship is the Sung Eucharist at which the whole Church Family gathers. A sung service with hymns and choir music using CW Order One.
Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Family Friendly Coffee
Choral Evensong
An opportunity for reflective worship around the structure of sung and spoken texts from the scriptures in a traditional setting. This service follows the BCP order for Evening Prayer with sung canticles (often to a choral setting) and a choir anthem as well as psalms and hymns. A sermon is preached at this service. Occassionaly this service is replaced by other worship (especially around Advent/Christmas and during Lent)

Methodist-Anglican Study Group

Meeting of play and prayer for pre-school children and their carers. Term-time only.

Choir Practice
The Choristers meet to rehearse between 7pm and 8pm. Saint Mary's Choir (an adult SATB choir) meets between 7 45pm and 9 15pm. No practices during August.
