The only church built by the architect Lightly. Put up in 1863 it replaced a building of Norman origin. Between 1925 and 1949 there was a pre-ordination school here run by the Rector. The church has a wonderful east window by Moira Forsyth installed in 1951. The church roof wasrelaid in 2011, returning it to the original Westmorland slate covering. The church urgently needs fund to meet the additional cost of unexpected but necessary repairs. Please contact the Rector if you can assist.
