First and Third Sundays services at St Peter's Church Whinney Hill Oldgate Lane Thrybergh at 10am Holy Communion with Children's Church. Second Sunday at St Peter's at 5pm - Family Service - an informal child-friendly service with a varied programme including puppets, drama, dance, action songs, the Band, games, quizzes and a time machine bringing Biblical characters to tell us about their life. After the informal service there is time for refreshments and crafts. There is a prayer activity such as placing prayers or pictures on our prayer cross. This is Spirituality whcih reaches kids and adults.

Other Sundays our congregation meet at our St Leonard's Church Doncaster Road Thrybergh - Services of Holy Communion on Second,Fourth & Fifth Sundays at 10am. Children welcome and have their own activities during the service.

St Peter's has a worship group comprising keyboard, guitars, drums and other instruments.
St Peter's has recently undergone a building renovation and offers a good worship space (kitchen, toilet and meeting area.

In 2009 St Peter's will be celebrating its Centenary. If you have any memorabilia you would be prepared to let us use for a Centenary Exhibition, please contact the Rector.

St Leonard's & St Peter's have a commited congregation and would love to see you.

St Leonard's has a choir and Bellringers.

The Rector, the Rev Janet French, is very involved with Thrybergh Fullerton C/E School as a Governor and taking regular assemblies. The pupils visit St Leonard's about twice a term and join in the popular Mothering Sunday and Harvest services at St Peter's.

Baptism, weddings, Funerals are by arrangement.

In October we have our R2W month - Return 2 Worship aimed at those who with the pressures of life have drifted away from church - or even never been to a service other than a wedding. Of course folk can return to church anytime - so why not during R2W. We will look out for you.

2009 - St Peter's Centeanry Year
Weds Feb 11 th is our 100th Birthday. We willl be celebrating that day at 10am Morning Prayer & 7:09pm Holy Communion (19:09)
Sun 15 Feb 10am Bishop is preaching.
Fri 5- Sun 7 June Centenary Celebration Weekend with Exhibition of Memorabilia.
Sun 7 Jun 10am Communion with guest preacher
6pm Sounds of Worship

A Fun time with puppets and action songs led by our Worship Band. A varied programme of drama, dance, games, quizzes with child-friendly Chrisitan teaching and a spirituality that reaches kids and adults. After informal service there is refreshements and time for Craft. 5pm Second Sunday of each month (not Aug)
