St Gregory's, Tredington is the ancient parish church for Shipston-on-Stour, and now is the parish church for the village of Tredington and the hamlets of Blackwell and Darlingscote (or Darlingscott), where the church of St George is located.
The church has an active congregation, and is mainly served by Ven Dr and Mrs Kuhrt, the associate ministers of the benefice, which includes Preston-on-Stour, Whitchurch, and Stretton-on-Fosse, and Ilmington.
There is a school (or half a school) located in Tredington (the school is split site and has half in Newbold) and local ministers serve leading assemblies and on the governors.
