The village of Turville nestles at the base of the valley and is overlooked by Turville windmill, used in the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
The parish church of Turville is a low-slung flint building with stone dressings and an old tile roof.The church lies opposite the village green in the heart of this charming and picturesqu village, with a large open churchyard,with a backdrop of chestnut trees.
